Yes friends, the Worm contingent travels westward this evening for a gathering at Jake’s new residence in Elberta/Frankfort, MI right on the stunning Lake Michigan shoreline. Beers at the local brewery commenced and now upload night is nursing a simultaneous headache/mild drunk and the caustic catchiness of White Medal. Good work if you can get it right? Yes. And while the guys slave away feverishly getting their posts ready to entertain and inform you dear reader, yours truly hasn’t had the time this week to do anything, so I’m “intro slave” by default. Again… good work if you can get it I suppose.

How’s that new Purtenance? Waiting for my copy to arrive… The previous EP really grew on me, excellent stuff.
It’s not what I expected at all. It’s incredibly heavy/sick, really good stuff…I’m pleasantly surprised.
That’s exactly what I expected, good. So you didn’t think their earlier stuff was incredibly heavy and sick and good or you didn’t know them?
Hahaha…no, I like their earlier stuff, of course…I just didn’t expect them to be able to so closely replicate the old days or maybe even surpass them. It isn’t common among these bands that rise from the grave…
Like I said, the EP didn’t disappoint either. I hear the new Convulse is also pretty good… Comforting to hear there’s still life in those rotten corpses hehehe…
